In celebration of Pride Month this year I will be highlighting Black Queer Women & Non-Binary Photographers and Graphic Designers. I want to give love to, recommend, and highlight folks that look like me that I share intersectionalities with. Below I have listed them in alphabetical order with links to their work.
Special shout out to Keamber, Krystina, Madison, Loren, Nay, and Sage for helping me to compile this group by sending me recommendations. I really appreciate y’all.

The curator of One of One an art exhibit showcasing Black Women Sports Photographers at The Sports Bra in Portland, OR. My favorite work by Lynsey is I See Myself in You. “A portrait study examining the intimate parts of queer identity and experiences of Black Queer (womxn/non-binary-trans) people. I See Myself in You examines the similarities and intersections that comprise daily life and how we are constantly learning about ourselves through others.”
To see so many Black & Queer people living, existing, and being photographed with care has been so wonderful.

I recently received an email that described my photography as: a captivating and creative approach to sharing ideas through aerial perspectives that highlight intriguing patterns and architectural details. While evoking a sense of place through thoughtful and engaging compositions in visual narratives. I really liked that description because I felt like it was a really good way to describe my recent photography.

As a Black Queer Woman Photographer I created this blog to highlight other Black Queer Women & Non-Binary Photographers because I didn’t see folks that looked like me, and do the things I do get highlighted this Pride Month. You know, if you notice it it’s your job to fix it. Throughout this month I have done research to find Black Queer Women & Non-Binary Photographers and Graphic Designers; below I have included a couple more that I found and links for ways to see their work.
